NYFA Poetry Grants [Aug. 22nd, 2006|10:51 am]

Here is some information on New York Foundation of the Arts poetry fellowships, which we all tried out for during their last cycle 2 years ago. Anyone up for trying again? I think we all have improved markedly since 2004.

Other categories in which NYFA is giving grants this year are: computer arts, crafts, film, nonfiction literature, performance art/multidisciplinary work, printmaking/drawing/artists' books and
sculpture.

A Reading Night – Creative Exhibition at Hunter College

New York, NY – April 3, 2006 – The next Reading Night has been set for 7pm to 9pm, Tuesday, April 11th, in Thomas Hunter 105. We invite the Hunter College community, students and faculty, to participate. Come see what The Olivetree Review has to offer. Exhibit your creativity, or sit back and enjoy the beginning of Spring Break, in what hopes to be an engaging and delightful evening.

The Olivetree Review would like to thank everyone who made the previous Performance Night such a success. This event should prove to be greater than the last. More food! More chairs! More wit than you can shake a stick at!

Open performance slots are still available so if you would like to present work please email: theolivetreereview@yahoo.com, bhackford@gmail.com, or risingexponent@gmail.com. The mediums of works are not limited but some do require advanced notice. The event lasts for two hours with a 15 minute intermission.


Established in 1984, The Olivetree Review is dedicated to cultivating and creating a community out of the creative talents in Hunter College.
